Advertising and Sponsorship Policy
Zenith is a UK editorial project based at 87 Greenleaf Avenue, Bristol, BS13 8XY.
Our purpose
Zenith creates accessible, carefully framed information about food and men’s health. We write for readers who want useful context without pressure, miracle claims or a sales pitch.
This policy explains how advertising, sponsorship and commercial relationships are separated from editorial work. It applies to display placements, sponsorship acknowledgements, affiliate links if introduced, newsletters and any future partner material. The current site is primarily an editorial publication.
Our work includes explainers, ingredient profiles, reading routes and practical questions for healthcare appointments.
Advertising must not imitate an article, hide its commercial purpose or use misleading urgency. We do not publish claims about personal outcomes, fabricated reviews, restricted goods or services that conflict with a calm, informational reader experience.
Labelling and separation
Paid placements should be labelled with clear terms such as “Advertisement”, “Sponsored” or “Partner content”. Editorial headlines, source selection and corrections remain under the editorial process rather than being controlled by a sponsor.
Links may use tracking parameters needed to report a campaign. Those parameters do not change the privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy, and optional cookies are subject to the Cookie Notice.
Review and refusal
Zenith may decline material that is inaccurate, discriminatory, unsafe, unsuitable for a general audience or inconsistent with UK advertising expectations. We consider whether a claim can be evidenced, whether qualifications are prominent and whether the presentation could mislead a reader.
Concerns about a placement can be sent to 87 Greenleaf Avenue, Bristol, BS13 8XY or 0117 496 0184. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 5 working days and provide an initial outcome within 20 working days.
Transparency and records
We retain contracts, approval notes and placement records for the period reasonably needed for accounting, dispute handling and legal compliance, normally up to 7 years for financial records. Editorial correspondence about a placement is usually retained for up to 12 months after closure.
This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026. Material changes will receive a new review date and will be reflected in labels and placement controls before a changed format is published.
Commercial material is reviewed for clear identification, lawful presentation and consistency with the site’s informational context. We do not accept material that relies on unsupported personal outcomes, pressure, hidden conditions or restricted categories. A potential partner may be declined where its claims cannot be checked or where the placement would confuse advertising with independent reporting.
Advertisers and sponsors do not receive access to private reader correspondence, contact lists or unpublished personal information. Aggregated performance information may be supplied by a hosting or measurement provider, but it is not presented as an individual profile. Any optional measurement follows the consent choices described in the Cookie Notice.
Affiliate links, if introduced, will be labelled near the relevant link or section. A commercial relationship does not change the price or terms presented by a third party unless those terms are clearly stated. Readers should review the destination’s own privacy, refund, accessibility and service information before taking any action.
Concerns about an advertisement, sponsorship label or possible editorial conflict may be sent to 87 Greenleaf Avenue, Bristol, BS13 8XY or 0117 496 0184. We aim to acknowledge a report within five working days and review the material within 30 days. Where a concern identifies a factual or presentation problem, the placement may be corrected, relabelled or removed.
This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026. Future changes to advertising categories, sponsorship practice or affiliate disclosure will be recorded through a new review date and a concise explanation. The policy is intended to operate alongside applicable UK consumer protection, advertising and privacy requirements.
